In fact its for good that you didnt get a Tamil font. Most of the Tamil font doesnt look that great in websites - infact "transliteration" like the way you did for the poem, looks great. Keep it going.

A small hint.You can type in Tamizh, 'Print screen' it and post it as a picture.The result is good enough :) To type in tamizh, all you need to do is have a small software running. I use e-kalappai.

you can get the unicode fonts here http://www.maraththadi.com/fonthelp.asp
after that
you can either save this webpage offline and use it to transliterate
http://www.jaffnalibrary.com/tools/Unicode.htm
or
Install this http://www.kstarsoft.com/home_t.htm software and you can switch between english and tamil typing in any unicode supporting applications including Notepad
